Considerations for Investing

If the following statements apply then an investment in the plan may be appropriate:

Are looking for potential growth on your investment and are able to accept the risk of losing a substantial proportion of your initial investment at maturity

Are able to hold your investment for the full investment term, but are also comfortable that the Fund might mature early

Want an investment dependent on the performance of the FTSE® 100 Index

Want your initial investment to have some degree of protection against falls of up to 50% in the FTSE® 100 Index

Have a lump sum of £1,000 or more to invest directly or £500 or more to invest in a Stocks & Shares ISA.

If the following statements apply then an investment in this plan may not be appropriate:

Are likely to need access to your investment during the investment term, or in the case of an emergency, and cannot risk getting back less than initially invested

Want a regular income from your investment, or want to add to your investment over the term

Do not accept that your potential for investment growth may be restricted

Are not able to accept a potential loss on your initial investment

Want to invest directly in the stockmarket

Do not want to invest without knowing the level of the FTSE® 100 Index, which is used to calculate any return.
