Plan Details The Zurich Equity Linked Growth Account (ZELGA) is a savings account that gives your money the potential for growth. Its performance is not linked to changes in the Bank of England Base Rate, instead it lets you enjoy the potential growth of the Index over five years without the risks normally associated with direct investment in stocks and shares. • A simple straight-forward structure. • If, at maturity, the Index has grown, you will receive your deposit back plus 75% of the Index’s growth. Zurich will calculate the closing Index level by averaging the 13 monthly closing levels of the FTSE 100 Index from and including 8 July 2014 to 8 July 2015. • If the averaged Index hasn’t grown, you will receive your original deposit less any withdrawals and fees for any early withdrawals, but no interest. • If you use your Cash ISA allowance, any interest will be tax-free on this element. • With this account your money is safely held in the security of a Dunbar Bank savings account. Your money is not held in any other type of financial product, it’s simply on deposit. |
